Marcin Jerzewski is the Head of the Taiwan Office of the European Values Center for Security Policy. He also serves as a Research Fellow of the Taiwan NextGen Foundation and is a contributor to the China Observers in Central Eastern Europe (CHOICE) platform of the Czech Association for International Affairs.Marcin’s academic interests include Taiwan-EU relations, politics and foreign and security policy of Taiwan, and comparative democratization. He is a frequent commentator on Taiwan and its foreign policy in Taiwanese and international media; his commentary appeared in outlets such as BBC, Deutsche Welle, The Economist, Taipei Times, and other prominent outlets.He also seeks to connect his research with the production of actionable policy ideas.
Marcin delivered expert briefings on topics related to foreign and security policy at the Legislative Yuan, Lithuanian Ministry of Defense, NATO Headquarters, Polish Ministry of Foreign Affairs, and the Slovak Embassy in Washington, DC. He is a graduate of the International Master’s Program in International Studies at the National Chengchi University, where he was an MOE Taiwan Scholar, and political science and Chinese studies programs at the University of Richmond.

Internship Job Description
Duties and responsibilities:
- Researching and monitoring current topics related to Taiwan’s domestic politics and its foreign relations, particularly Central and Eastern Europe, using English and Chinese sources, where applicable;
- Assisting the Center’s staff and Non-Resident Fellows with ongoing research projects;
- Tracking news and developments in Taiwan, Taiwan-China relations, and the Indo-Pacific region;
- Conceptualizing and creating audience-aware infographics, presentations, custom illustrations, process diagrams, graphs and charts, icons, and other collateral;
- Drafting Tweets, and Facebook and LinkedIn posts;
- Attending relevant events in Taipei and reporting back to the think tank’s staff;
- Compiling drafts of publications;
- Facilitating the organization, planning, and implementation of think tank’s events, meetings and programming;
- Additional publishing opportunities may be available.
- Additional duties may be assigned to facilitate the daily operations of the think tank.
