The NTU Office of International Affairs will host two sessions as part of the '2026 NTU x Cake Workshop Series' on December 22nd and 23rd. This series is a special collaboration with Cake, a career platform that arranges professional consultants to serve as mentors during the academic year, accompanying students through various global talent cultivation programs. The first session is ‘From Classroom to Career: Winning Strategies for the Taiwanese Job Market’.

Cake is renowned for its technology-driven career tools and talent matching platform, dedicated to helping job seekers build outstanding resumes and improve interview performance. By collaborating closely with many technology and startup organizations, Cake has first-hand knowledge of the talent needs of the employment market.

This first workshop is designed to guide students from academic training to real-world application, focusing on the crucial early steps of job seeking in the Taiwanese employment market. Key topics will include showcasing effective strategies for:

  1. Resume writing
  2. Building a professional personal brand
  3. Translating personal experiences into job-seeking advantages

Through this workshop, students will receive practical guidance and the latest knowledge from industry experts, ensuring they are well-prepared for their future careers.

Notes:

  1. The maximum capacity for each workshop is 60 participants, plus 5 waitlist slots. Each student may only register for one workshop.
  2. Overseas Chinese students, international students, and NTU local students recommended by NTU Center for Bilingual Education for the International Mentorship Program will receive priority admission.
  3. Students who attend the workshop in full will receive 5 extra bidding points for the International Mentorship Program.
  4. Due to limited seating, students who register but are absent without a valid reason will have 5 bidding points deducted, and their attendance record will be taken into account in future selections of other talent-cultivation programs.
